What is credit ?            
1 Message of (1-160 Character) = 1 Credit. So 1 Credit is utilized to send a message to any mobile network (GSM or CDMA) in India.

How can I buy the credits? I do not even have a bank account.
You have to login to your control panel to avail this facility. After you login to your control panel you will have the option of Buy SMS credits. You can re-charge your account by purchasing credits using online (NetBanking / Credit Card) or Offline payment options. In online option, your credits are transferred immediately to your account, however in case of offline payment, credits will be transferred after realization of payment. You can also send a cheque/demand draft. If you do not have a bank account you can send us the required amount through DD. On realization of your payment your credits will be transferred to your account within 2-5 hrs. Please send a support request at info@telenetadindia.com after you made any such transaction, mentioning your userid or registered mobile number, amount and last 3 digits of your account number if possible .

What is the validity of Credits I purchase? 
You will 365 Days validity (Can be extended on request).

How many minimum credits I can buy?
You can buy minimum 100 Credits.

Is there any monthly rental or minimum charges or commitment ?
No, there are no rental or minimum monthly charges. Just purchase the credits as and when you need them.

How long does message delivery take? 
The average time taken is less than 5-10 seconds! However sometimes congestion in network may cause unavoidable delay.

At time a message can be sent to how many mobile phones?
We recommend 100-500. You can try more than that.

You can send SMS to almost any operator in India including GSM & CDMA.

Can I send messages to other countries?

Do I get notification when I am running low in credits?

What is a Sender ID? 
Sender ID is a max of 8 digit Alpha numeric code used to send message using your company name. Due to technical restriction some CDMA operator do not accept SMS bearing Alpha numeric Sender ID. In these cases, our default GSM Sender ID will be replaced automatically with alpha numeric id. You can also create and use your GSM sender ID for sending SMS to these operators on written approval. You can create sender IDs based of SMS Package you purchase. Default Sender ID "WebSMS" is not counted in your quota. Remember this facility is available to our paid users only after due approval and verification. Note: Must send a support request to create and use your new sender ID for approval. In case of violation of the norms your account may be suspended for further use without prior notice.

Can I use this service for Marketing our products?
As per the prevailing rules you cannot use this service for mass marketing/spam. However you can use this service to push SMS to the clients who are eligible / agreed upon to receive your updates and promotions.

What format of mobile numbers to be used when I create contact list or send any message? 
Just type the country code and mobile (e.g 919800876688). In case you wish to send a message to multiple mobiles, separate the number with a coma (,).

Is it mandatory to use your service after we have registered? 
No, You are free to discontinue using our service whenever you wish to do so. Just send a support request or mail us at info@telenetadindia.com informing us about your unwillingness to continue your account.

What is security of your website?
Special attention is given to the security aspect. Password is send to registered mobile number only to prevent any misuse of this service. Your information will not be shared with any third party as per our privacy policy.

What is the protocol of sending message? Can I send anything to any one? 
No, SMSlane.com provides you the best of the technology to ensure a better, fast, reliable and secure way of communication. Using our service for sharing adult / porn content, spreading of rumor, threatening language or any purpose which is against the law or causing dissatisfaction to any one is prohibited. How long does it take for the Mobile /DTH/Data Card to get recharged?
We provide instant recharge In case your recharge fails because of a technical error at operator end we immediately initiate a refund for your transaction.


How can I confirm that whether my recharge transaction was successful?
The moment you click on the confirmation button your recharge request will be send to operator server and immediately your Mobile/DTH/Data Card will get recharged instantly and you will get following information from our side:

What if I do not receive any recharge from the mobile operator for my successful transaction?

Money got deducted but i have not received my recharge what next I have to do?
Sometimes when we send a recharge request to the mobile operator, we receive a confirmation from the mobile operator that your recharge has been successfully processed, even though the recharge transaction had actually failed.

If any transaction is marked as success and your account has been debited and recharge not received from your operator then within next 2 hours refund will be applied to your account and the transaction status will update as “Reversed”

The above system will work perfectly in almost all cases, in case if amount is not getting reversed for failure transactions which is marked as Success then please feel free to raise a support ticket/complain no..


I got zero talktime or less than expected talktime!
The talktime that you receive after doing a recharge is defined by the mobile operator and we have no control over it. Different recharge values give different amounts of talktime. Sometimes, the recharge value that you enter could be a special recharge that might give you free sms, free data usage or reduced call rate without giving you any talktime. It is recommended that for all such cases, you may check directly with your mobile operator’s customer care.


I have switched my operator through MNP. Can I recharge through MyRechargeClub?
Yes you can but need to select the correct operator, by default we automatically detect the operator and circle based on your mobile number, if your number is ported then you must select correct operator and circle before recharging.

It’s a complete hosted solution, no telephone connection or dialer required.


Instead of broadcasting recorded voice can we call and talk real time with my friends or colleagues?
Yes, using our Call Conference facility two or more people can communicate directly. Here the credit for both the parties is deducted from the one who initiates the call.

There are two modes in call conferencing.  Talk mode: Normal conversation where both parties can here and talk. Listen Mode: Here only certain parties will talk while others listen.


From which number we will be receiving calls?
Incoming calls number will be any of our PRI numbers starting with 0471 -32/30/40 


What will happen if any our customers call back to your number?
Our numbers will not accept incoming calls, an error message will be played.


Can we set our office/mobile number as incoming number?
It’s not possible in India, as we are broadcasting through PRI lines not through VOIP.


How to upload/record voice files?
You have 3 options for sending voice calls.

You can upload your own voice files which are recorded using your mobile phone or computer.


Recording your voice file using our IVR                                                                                                                            .
For recording your voice through our IVR first of all you have to register your mobile number.  Enter your mobile number and click 'add'. Wait for confirmation code in your mobile.  Then click 'Confirm Number' and enter your confirmation code.  Now make a call to 0471 3925800 and start recording.  Press '#' to stop recording.  The recorded file is now available in 'Select previously selected file' in 'Voice Call' page.  If you want to delete your number before confirmation, use delete option in 'Confirm Number'.  After confirmation, you can delete numbers from 'Delete Number'.


Text to Speech File                                                                                                                                                         .
Using Text to Speech option you only need to type the message our system will automatically convert into voice file and broadcast, ideal for dynamic calling. Accent of the text to speech will be neutral.

What should be the format of the voice files?
Format of the voice file should be .mp3 or .wav

How many voice calls can be processed in a minute?
We have 5 PRI lines for terminating voice calls (1 PRI = 30 lines) so in a second we are able to process 150 calls and in a minute approximate 9000 calls


How long it will take to deliver the voice calls to recipients?
In almost all cases calls will be placed immediately however if all our PRI lines are busy then you call will be queued and process accordingly.

What is a PRI line & what is its function?
Primary-Rate Interface (PRI) is a form of ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) line which is a telecommunication standard that enables traditional phone lines to carry voice, data and video traffic, among others. PRI lines are widely used in Call Centers/Corporate Offices/Govt Organization/Hospitals where outgoing and incomings calls are high.A PRI line can receive/send 30 calls simultaneously its end to end digital circuit.


Can I call International numbers?
No, voice call can be broadcasted only within India.


Is there are separate cost for landphone and mobile?

How can I ensure that my calls are answered by the audience?

What is the normal pulse rate of a voice call?           
Normal pulse rate is 30 seconds, if the duration of your voice file is more than 30 seconds then it will be counted ad 2 pulse and 2 credits will be deducted from your account.
30 Seconds = 1 Pulse = 1 Credits

What is the difference between Normal & Priority Routes?

What is Sender ID & how does it work?

Sender ID is the header of your SMS which means, messages will be delivered to the customers in the name of your Sender ID. Normally Sender ID will be your Company/Brand name. However you can set any Alpha Numeric ID of 8 characters as Sender ID. You can create or shuffle unlimited Sender IDs as you wish.

Can you provide open Sender ID’s or Numeric Sender ID’s?

Domain Pointing Process

Note : For activating SMS reseller website you have to add CNAME record instead of A record.


Pointing your primary domain or sub-domain to our Server IP.

In order to activate your reseller account you should own a domain (www.yourdomain.com). You can also use your sub-domain (www.sms.yourdomain.com)


Difference between Primary domain and Sub-domain.

Primary domain will be the main domain registered with the domain registrar for example www.yourdomain.com is called primary domain you can add any sub-domains to your primary domain for example www.sms.yourdomain.com or www.bulksms.yourdomain.com

If you have your own website and hosting space you can add sub-domains for your Bulk SMS Reseller panel, else you can use your primary domain.

Pointing Process
In order to work your reseller panel with your domain/sub-domain you have to add A records for the domain/sub-domain you wish to load your Reseller Control Panel. Domain pointing process can be done in two ways as mentioned below


Adding A Records(from domain control panel).
Note : This method will work only if your domain nameservers are pointed to the required nameservers (default nameservers) of the domain otherwise you can point it from your web hosting account.

For adding A records first you have to login to your domain control panel under the Manage DNS/Add DNS/DNS Editor/DNS Zone and from their you have to add A records to your domain/sub-domain.

If you have taken domain name form us you have to follow the below steps for adding A records

1.        Click A Records and in the next screen, click Add A Record.

2.        There you would find 3 fields:

Host Name: Here the domain name, for which you are adding the A Record for, would be pre-filled (e.g. yourdomain.com). Now, if you wish to add an A Record for sms.yourdomain.com, then you would have to put in sms the text box. If you wish to add A Record for just yourdomainname.com, then you can leave this box blank.

Destination IPv4 Address: Here you would have to enter the IPv4 IP Address of the Web Server here you have to add our Server IP 173.192.56.210

TTL: This is the Time To Live for this Record, in seconds. Any Server which once queries this Record will query it again after this time interval. The ideal TTL is 86400, which is 1 day. It can not be set to less than 14400, i.e., 4 hours.

3.        Click the Add Record button to submit your Record.

 

If you are not sure how to do this task then please contact your domain registrar/company from where you have purchased the domain and ask them to do it for you. Please provide our Server IP 173.192.56.210 and request them point your domain/sub-domain to our Server IP 

                                                          

Adding A Records (from your hosting control panel)
Adding A Records from hosting control panel is different for different hosting platforms and control panels, however in all hosting control panels you can find it under the DNS editor Zone/Domain Management.

In Windows Plesk 9.5 Panel you can find it under the Settings-> DNS SOA Records

In Linux Cpanel you can find it under the  Domains -> DNS Editor

If you are not able to find the DNS editor in your web hosting account please contact your hosting company and ask them to point your domain/subdomain to our server ip


Checking the status of your pointing.
              Once the pointing process is completed, you will able to see a message while typing your pointed domain or sub-domain in browser that “CNAME added successfuly. Please contact your administrator to activate your reseller website.”  if you are getting this message then your domain pointing process is successful

You can also ping your domain/sub-domain using the ping command from your cmd.

For run ping test Click Start -> Run -> Type cmd -> type ping <space> your pointed domain, for example ping beta.smsalertbox.com

 If it’s showing our Server IP means your pointed was successful.

 Note : 2-24 hours will take for DNS Propagation depends on your Domain/Hosting Company

 Once the pointing process successful you have to send an email to info@telenetadindia.com or raise a ticket to our Support department mentioning your domain/sub-domain and your username in order enable us to activate your reseller account.


Adding CNAME Record :(Create a CNAME record)

A CNAME record is a type of resource record in the Domain Name System (DNS) that's stored by your domain host.

In order to activate your reseller account you should own a domain (www.yourdomain.com). You can also use your sub-domain (www.sms.yourdomain.com)
